# Sake XP

**XP Earning Mechanics**:

* **Staking**: Users earn XP by staking SONE within Sake Finance, similar to how they currently earn Sake Points.
* **Liquidity Provision**: XP can also be earned by providing liquidity in various DeFi protocols, with multipliers based on the risk or utility of the liquidity provided.
* **Borrowing and Lending**: Just like with Sake Points, users could earn a certain amount of XP per $1 borrowed or deposited within the protocol.
* **Participation in Strategies**: XP could be earned based on user participation in specific DeFi strategies, with additional multipliers for engaging in advanced or more complex strategies.

#### **XP-Based Rewards and Bonuses**

1. **Higher Returns on Out Looper Strategy**:
   * **Enhanced Sake Points**: High-XP users earn additional Sake Points in out looper strategies.
   * **Exclusive Multipliers**: Unlock unique multipliers for out looper strategies at higher XP tiers.
2. **Earning Partner Points**:
   * **Partner Integration**: Earn partner points within Soneium and other integrated protocols, offering benefits like discounted fees and early feature access.
   * **Cross-Protocol Benefits**: Use XP to unlock bonus points and promotions across multiple DeFi platforms.
3. **Fee Reductions**:
   * **XP-Based Discounts**: Reduced fees for transactions, borrowing, or staking based on XP levels.
   * **Tiered Structures**: Higher XP earners receive greater fee discounts, incentivizing engagement.

**Multipliers and Bonuses**:

* **Infuse Mechanism**: Similar to the "Sake Infuse" multiplier in Sake Points, users could have the option to apply multipliers to their XP earning rates by locking SONE for longer periods or participating in higher-risk strategies.
* **Quests and Referrals**: Additional XP could be earned through participating in quests across L2 ecosystems or by referring friends to the protocol.
