Sake Testnet V1

Step 1: Bridge Sepolia ETH to Soneium

  • Get your Sepolia ETH from https://www.alchemy.com/faucets/ethereum-sepolia

  • Links to these pages are available at app.sakefinance.com

  • If you need a guide on this, here's one from Coingecko - https://www.coingecko.com/learn/sepolia-eth

  • Head to https://bridge.soneium.org/en/testnet to bridge Sepolia ETH to Soneium

  • Bridge the amount of Sepolia ETH you want to send over.

  • Click on Review deposit and initiate deposit, confirm all the transactions in your wallet. This will initiate the bridging of Sepolia ETH over to Minato.

  • The entire process takes about 5 minutes.

After the process is done, check your wallet on Soneium Minato Testnet . Your SepoliaETH should now be bridged over.

Step 2: Get testnet token for Sake Finance.

  • Head to https://app.sakefinance.com/faucet or click on the banner on the app page.

  • You are able to mint all the available assets and use them in Sake Finance's lending and borrowing module.

  • Click on Mint 1 WBTC, you will be prompt to approve a transaction upon confirmation you will have received it in your wallet on Minato testnet.

Step 3: Head to Sake Finance's lending and borrowing.

Step 4: How to Lend.

For this example, we will be depositing WBTC.

  • Click on Deposit.

  • You will be redirected to this page.

  • Input the amount of WBTC you would like to supply and approve it before supplying it.

  • Upon completion of supplying you will be seeing this page! Congratulations you have successfully supplied 1 WBTC!

  • When you return to the main page you will now be able to see a withdraw button, which you can click to withdraw your supplied asset.

Step 5: How to turn on assets as collateral

  • Upon depositing any assets, they are usually turned on as collateral.

  • If you would like to turn them off as collateral, you can click on the collateral button and disable them.

Step 6: How to Borrow assets

  • SONE is our Native stablecoin and will be used in other DeFi Protocols in future.

  • You can borrow SONE & other assets from our borrowing module. [Video below]

  • For this example, we will be borrowing SONE.

  • Click on the Borrow button on SONE, you will be directed to the page below.

  • Input the amount of SONE you would like to borrow and click Borrow SONE.

  • Once the transaction is done, you will be able to see this page below.

  • How to repay your borrowed asset.

  • Head back to the borrow module, you will now be able to see a repay button for you to repay your borrowed asset.

  • Click on Repay, you will be directed to repay your SONE borrowed.

  • After approving and repaying the total amount, your borrowed amount will be repaid.

  • Your health factor and position will also be cleared upon repaying all your borrowed position.

What do i get for supporting Sake's testnet?

  1. Stay tuned every Monday!

  2. 14 wallets who have participated in our testnet will be selected through raffles per week to mint Sipper NFT when the Mainnet of Soneium is live.

  3. Users who submit bugs on Testnet will be granted testnet supporter on discord and guaranteed a mint of Sipper NFT.

  4. Sipper NFT holders will be eligible to gain one spin per week at our reward module on Mainnet.

Example: I hold a Shogun NFT [OG] + Sipper NFT = 2 spins rewarded weekly when Mainnet of Soneium commence. Disclaimer: Do note that your wallet you use for Testnet will be used for minting of the Sipper NFT.
