# Astar Pool

### Overview

The **Astar Pool** on Sake Finance allows users to deposit **wstASTR** and borrow **ASTR**, providing flexibility and efficiency in managing assets within the Soneium ecosystem. By leveraging the pool, users can optimize their liquidity and explore various DeFi strategies.

### How to Use the Astar Pool

#### Step 1: Deposit wstASTR & Borrow ASTR

1. Head to [Sake Finance](https://app.sakefinance.com/).
2. Navigate to the **Liquidity** tab and select **Astar Pool**.
3. Deposit **wstASTR** to enable borrowing.
4. Borrow **ASTR** against your deposit.

#### Step 2: Obtain wstASTR

If you don’t already have **wstASTR**, you can acquire it in two ways:

* **Swap for wstASTR**: Visit [Kyo Finance](https://app.kyo.finance/swap?inputCurrency=0x2cae934a1e84f693fbb78ca5ed3b0a6893259441\&outputCurrency=0xc67476893c166c537afd9bc6bc87b3f228b44337) to swap for wstASTR.
* **Mint wstASTR**: Stake ASTR on [Astake](https://astake.dev/) to mint wstASTR.

#### Step 3: Reinvest wstASTR

1. Once you have wstASTR, deposit it back into the **Astar Pool** on Sake Finance.
2. This enables further borrowing and enhances liquidity utilization.

### Notes on nsASTR

The Astar pool has been successfully and fully recovered from the exploit on Neemo Finance.\
Users with outstanding balances can repay and withdraw their nsASTR and use it to claim ASTR.\
nsASTR can no longer be supplied or borrowed from this pool.
